Romeo + Juliet Package at the Mandarin Oriental New York
More and more hotels are putting together theater tickets and hotel room packages. The latest comes from the Mandarin Oriental New York which is offering a Romeo + Juliet Holiday Romance Package.
Included are tickets to an encore performance of Peter Martins' new, acclaimed production of Romeo + Juliet with music by Sergei Prokofiev, scenery and costumes by Danish painter Per Kirkeby and danced by New City Ballet and students from the School of American Ballet. This contemporary interpretation debuted last spring to sold-out audiences.
Also included is an upgrade in accommodations at the hotel which New York magazine cited as the city's most romantic hotel. The package is available only on performance dates, which are January 5, 6, 9, 12, 13, and 15.
