'Tis the Season To Take The Kids Away On Holiday

November 20, 2007 at 5:52 PM | by juliana | 0 Comments

Even though we don't have children (yay!) we know a lot of people do and that sometimes those ultra-hip modern boutique hotels aren't very family-friendly.

Here are some places that are:

· The Resort at Singer Island: This new Luxury Collection hotel from Starwood, just outside Palm Beach, has The Luxury Collection Kids Club that indulges tots in recreational and physical activities. At night or when it's raining, kids can hit up a special room that overlooks the beach where they can sit at kiddie-sized tables and play games, do arts and crafts or watch movies. There's even a grotto pool (above) with a waterslide. Don't worry, there's an adults only infinity pool at the hotel as well.

· The Carlyle Hotel: This swank NYC hotel has Madeleine-themed tea party for its pint-sized guests inside its Bemelmans Bar on Saturday and Sundays from noon to 4pm. The place already has a celeb following as Suri Cruise had a tea party there recently.

· Arrabelle at Vail Square: When this hotel opens in January, hire the ski nanny to watch over your kids while you perfect your moves on the slopes.

· Nashville Airport Marriott: If holiday travel woes force you to spend a night (or two) in Nashville, the Marriott near the airport is offering the Family Time Vacation Package where kids under 12 eat free.
