Viva Vegas: Planet Hollywood Will Be Partying It Up This Weekend

Las Vegas has parties going on practically every night of the week but this weekend should see a pretty spectacular party, the weekend-long celebration of the Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino

Celebs with major star wattage (although with little connection to each other) are set to perform. Jon Stewart will do a show tonight and Barbra Streisand will do a performance tomorrow night. Also, giving a show will be Bruce Willis and his band. What? No one wanted his "famous" daughter Rumer?

Despite the festivities this weekend, Planet Hollywood has been open for a few months so guests have been able to check out the new digs. So far the reviews seem pretty solid and anything is an improvement from the old Aladdin, right? Although one person did report being sent to an old Aladdin room that had not been refurbished so make sure you get a PH room when you book.

As with all renovations, the room rates have risen from the Aladdin days, but this is actually still a Starwood property and you can use your SPG points here. However, if you are looking to play hide and seek in your hotel room you might be outta luck. One guest wrote:

Closet is a little small for 2 ppl, but not a big deal.
