Viva Vegas: Cigars Are Out, Laundry Still In

Strange things have been going on in Vegas, just for a change. For example, The Venetian has been hosting the 12th annual "Big Smoke" event where cigar lovers come together to celebrate all things cigar. The funny part about it this time round is that because the smoking ban hit, all the Big Smoke participants had to wave their cigars around unlit. Who would've thought you can have a cigar convention without smoke?
But it's really a good thing that they weren't smoking away inside and making the towels and linen stinky, because the hotel laundry workers in Las Vegas have been considering a strike. It looks like your towels will continue to be washed now, with a tentative agreement reached with unions, except that employees at the Tropicana are still in negotiations. Might give a new meaning to the idea of recycling those towels.
