A lot of hotels talk about giving back to their local communities so it's always nice to see this type of involvement actually happening. Kor Hotels is the latest hotel group to do so.
This past Saturday, The Viceroy Palm Springs was in action at the city's "Desert AIDS Walk." The hotel donated $5 per every donation submitted for the walk under the Viceroy team. As you can see, Viceroy team members were represented by their yellow t-shirts.
The Desert AIDS Project provides medical care and support services to people in the area living with HIV/AIDs.
MORE on Viceroy's charity efforts after the jump.

Earlier this month down in Anguilla, the soon-to-open Viceroy Anguilla helped out with the island's "West End Day Care Centre" which provides working class Anguillan families with child care services, particularly to those families employed by several area resorts.
The place was badly in need of a refurbishment so Viceroy execs, led by General Manager Jan Tibaldi, spent the day cleaning, refurbishing and painting the day care center.
See, not only does it help your relationship with locals to lend a hand to the surrounding communities, you can actually get stuff done.
Let us know how other hotels are giving back to the community.
