Palazzo Las Vegas Update: Rooms Open Dec. 20th

Yesterday we posted some skepticism from a Vegas blog, VegasRex, about the Palazzo Hotel and Casino opening up before 2007 was out.

But Markj pointed out in comments that room reservations are being taken for Dec. 20th.

You can book on their website starting Dec. 20 ($199 for standard rooms). So I would say soft opening is going to happen December 20th without a doubt.

Those Vegas people don't fool around. Still we doubt the entire thing will be finished. Meanwhile, Eater LA also reports that Jonathan Morr (who will open BondST in Thompson Beverly Hills shortly) will be opening Mainland, a French-Vietnamese noodle house inside the hotel in February.
