How to Get a Deal on the Newly Opened Six Columbus
Yesterday, Six Columbus finally opened its doors to real guests after almost three and a half long years of waiting.
Thompson Hotels co-owner Stephen Brandman told us that pod rooms were going for $255 and deluxe rooms for $425 if you called the hotel direct. But we found that Quickbook.com was offering rooms for $199. And today, we continue to find some more deals.
Over at Perfect Escapes while they have an October 2008 opening date listed (looks like they had less faith than us) the site is now offering pod rooms this Sunday for $195, five bucks cheaper than Quickbook. Again, these pod rooms are probably best for one person as they are only 175-sq.ft.
Perfect Escapes also has plenty of queen rooms available starting at $215 so you can splurge $30 for the extra space. Overall, there are lots of options to book under $275 at this site.
