Basically, T&D had guests stay for the weekend to participate in this murdery mystery. We think they were mostly Tori's friends and she promptly dressed them up in daytime and nighttime outfits from the 1920s.
But first the episode kicks off with Patricia King, the landlord/real owner of Chateau La Rue, who comes by to tell Tori and Dean that there is an "interested buyer." (We don't believe this. This has to be another plotline devised by production people at Oxygen).
Anyhow, Patricia says that Tori and Dean still have the first right of refusal on this buyer but Dean says that as much as they want to buy the place, they cannot afford it. Things are just left up in the air for now.
On with the murder mystery weekend...or not. This episode is ridiculous. As we mentioned the only thing really worth watching was Tori's gay stalker fan who showed up with a painting he had done of her and who broke character to have Tori sign a copy of Frontiers magazine with her on the cover. He also snapped some pictures during the reveal of the murder mystery.
Once that all ends, Tori and Dean get back to discussing owning the B&B. Dean says in order to buy it they have to be committed to it 150 percent, meaning no more fry stands, no more acting gigs, etc. But Tori points out that by acting, and selling themselves to trashy magazines, they can actually make money. Not by owning a B&B.
Then Dean delivers the line we have known was coming all season, "It may be time to go back to L.A." Yeah, like they ever really left.
Annoying Tori Moments:
Her convenient product placement of Nutri-system snack bar. Her enthusiasm for this murder mystery weekend. Saying the bad thing about "living in Fallbrook" is that she never gets to see her friends. She does not live in Fallbrook.
Sad Dean Moments:
He does all the work from making breakfast to cleaning the rugs. We actually think that Oxygen puts him to work like this and that it's not just for the cameras.
