With Valentine's Day bookings well underway, it's time to start thinking about how you make your hotel room sexy enough to fit the mood--regardless of whether you're breaking the bank or just spending the night budget style. Budget Travel has great tips this month on How to Make Any Hotel Room Sexy.

From scattering rose petals across the bed (hopefully without thorns) to throwing a sarong over a lamp to dim the light, there's a tip for every style of romance. They also suggest spraying a bit of perfume on a warm lamp to get a subtle waft of scent, and one excellent tip: check that the previous guest didn't set the alarm clock for 5am.

They do make one more very good point-- do sexy things in moderation:

While all 10 are great ideas, you may want to implement only two or three. Overkill isn't sexy at all.
