Be careful the next time you book your stay at the Broadmoor Hotel in Colorado. You just might walk in on the annual Colorado Springs Father-Daughter Purity Ball.

Yup, a purity ball is just what you think it is where daughters make promises to their fathers to remain "pure" until marriage.

While we know Papa Joe Simpson would approve of this thing as well as many other dads, we don't know how you as a hotel guest would feel if you happened to walk by the ballroom and heard a pastor shout this out to the crowd, "Are you ready to war for your daughters' purity?" And yes, that's a direct quote.
