After Ed Perkins' depressing 2007 Hotel Forecast, we decided to perk you up with this $34 a night deal in Las Vegas at the Stratosphere, via Travelocity.

The Stratosphere is known for its 1,149-foot tower that is seen from all angles of Las Vegas and which features crazy theme-park rides that run at the top. Also at the top is the hotel's restaurant, Top of the World, and intimate lounge. Best of all, this is the place where Bite, a musical about horny vampires is shown.

The $34 rates are good for most weeknights with weekends either just under or just over $100, except Valentine's Day. But even then, the price only jumps to $183. Just beware, the hotel charges a $5 resort fee for each day.
