Loews Miami Beach Gets in on the Start of the NFL Season

To everyone who's entered in a Fantasy Football League (or two or three) the long wait is over. Tonight the NFL kicks off its season opener with the Miami Dolphins-Pittsburgh Steelers game. Football Wives give your hubby one last kiss on the cheek until February.

The Loews Miami Beach Hotel is celebrating the NFL opener in a big way. There's already been a press conference at the hotel today which had pop stars like Diddy, Cassie, Danity Kane and Yung Joc (basically everyone on Diddy's Bad Boy record label) talk about their performances later tonight.

And yesterday, Miami Beach 411 was on hand to attend the flag football exhibition game, with football players past and present, put on by Samsung Electronics on an elevated 50-yard football field on the beach. The blog reports that all the VIP players were staying at the Loews.

Obviously, the hotel is working hard to keep its Jock Jam Hotel rep before the W South Beach steals it away.
