[Ed. Note: We received this email in our mailbox letting us know that Bed Bugs have arrived in Las Vegas, Harrah's specifically. While the rooms at Harrah's are decidedly worn, other guests report them as very well-kept and clean. So just remember, this is only one person's side of the story.]

I was a guest there last week from Tuesday through Friday (checked out on the 22nd).  I found bed bugs in my room the first morning.  I realized what was going on by the blood on the sheets.  I had a few bites.  I called the front desk and was transferred to the manager.  He did not seem to concerned and I had to ask for a new room!   They gave me a new room, nothing more.

I did everything right when I came home.  Luggage not taken into my house, dry-cleaning taken in the next day, laundry went from the garage to the washer (about 30 feet).  I left my purse and laptop in the garage.  Nothing and I mean nothing has came into my house.  I even took off all my clothes off in the garage when I got home and went naked through the house and took a full shower.

Now I have bed bugs in my 2600 sq. foot home!  My husband and daughter are  going to freak when I tell them tomorrow!  I have been home for five days and have been sleeping on the couch due to my husband being sick.  I have gotten about 10 bites today since I came home from work and have been sitting on the couch this evening.  I have also trapped a few in a baggy.  Of course I cant fall a sleep either.

Life Sucks!

actually harrah's had a big inspection of all their rooms. it was for fire safety  but i am sure they are scrutinizing all of their rooms these days. it should be ok but if you are worried, book a new hotel to be safe.
