Jessica Simpson Can't Let Go of Her Crappy Performance as Daisy Duke

Jessica Simpson doesn't want you to ever forget that once upon a time back in 2005 she played Daisy Duke in the remake of Dukes of Hazzard.

She named her dog Daisy so that everytime the dog makes it into Us Weekly, you will think of her movie role. She pranced around in daisy dukes during the promos for the movie. And of course, she named a cowboy boot from her shoe line, Daisy Duke.

Now she's going one step further and asking you to eat at her BBQ restaurant called Daisy Duke's, the first of which could open at Caesars Palace next year. (Excuse us while we vomit.)

The Dukes of Hazzard star will provide backing for the restaurants - which will feature scantily-clad waitresses in tiny hot pants - named after her most famous screen character from the film remake of the hit TV show. The business plan was thought up by Jessica's father and manager, Joe Simpson, 48. A source told America's Life and Style Weekly magazine: "Joe's going to make a lot of money from this."

Caesars better get used to having Joe Simpson around as Jessica is expected to make five appearance at the restaurant each year. But we're still hoping this story is just a Joe Simpson pipe dream. But if it is true,  then we beg Caesars to reconsider. Hell, we would rather Celine Dion open up her own fried frogs stand there than this.
