Dining with 'Friends' at Renaissance Chicago-O'Hare

Serving as the middle ground for the U.S. and a break for many across-the-world travelers, the Chicago O'Hare Airport is surrounded by hotels for the weary traveler. The Renaissance Chicago O'Hare Suites Hotel is one of the many hotels next to the airport but they try to accommodate the lonely traveler the best they can.
One new addition for guests is the offer of personal DVD players and DVDs featuring "favorite sitcoms such as Friends and Seinfeld." The cool part, this DVD players is meant to keep you company while you eat at their restaurant, Fresh which is open for every meal.
"60% of our guests travel without a companion," noted Mark Zettl, general manager of the hotel. "Having to eat alone can be one of the disadvantages for many business travelers and we want to do what we can to bring the comforts of home to our guests while on the road."
It still sounds a little sad but we kind of see this leading to more. As in maybe with all these solo people watching sitcoms during dinner, they will be inspired to join together?
