Killer View :: La Casa Del Mundo

We are suckers for a room with a killer view.  We find that we are even more likely to forgive some minor hotel inconveniences if we can stare out the window at something pretty--yeah we are that shallow. A great view somehow gets better when it's hard to be reached. This fantastic view can only be yours after securing your room at La Casa del Mundo Hotel and arriving there via boat service. Plopped atop a cliff and surrounded by gardens, the hotel has the best view of Guatemala's Lake Atitlan. The rooms aren't all that get the view, the hot tub "overhanging the lake" does as well. The view is so gorgeous here that you can almost ignore the absurd amount of Guatemala-style quilt work in the rooms.
