New Dubai Hotel Has Great Food But Rooms Will Vibrate

Approaching its one year anniversary since opening, the Al Murooj Rotana Hotel & Suites in Dubai has fared quite well in it short time. Ame Info reports that the hotel has won a bunch of awards including 'Best Latin American Restaurant in Dubai' for the Latino House Restaurant (from the Time Out Restaurant Awards 2006) and Best Pub Grub in Dubai' for the Double Decker Pub (from the What's On awards.)

The Business Traveler Middle East Awards nominated Al Murooj Rotana Hotel & Suites as number two property in 'Best Business Hotel in Dubai' category and as number three in the 'Best Hotel Overall in the Middle East'. Another...was the silver award the property received in 'Best 5-star New Hotel of the Year 2005' category of MENA Travel Awards 2006.

When we checked out the hotel reviews, we found that indeed the place is pretty good. But having some award-winning restaurants can cause a bit of noise. If you're on a lower level expect the extension of the Brit Pub (which is open until 3am) to cause the hotel room to "literally vibrate".
