Hotel Monteleone's Carousel Bar

If you're not a fan of the circus, then the bar at Hotel Monteleone might scare you away.

Appropriately named the Carousel Bar, the place features a circus motif and the round bar looks like a lit-up carousel sans mechanical horses.

A favorite of New Orleans locals, [the bar] is often filled with colorful local characters telling stories about Hotel Monteleone and our celebrated city.

If you're a fan of Carnivale then you will probably dig the place. But hit it up on Wednesday through Saturday nights when acclaimed pianist John Autin plays from 9pm til closing.
