Jade Bar is a fairly small space with seating and small tables along the walls as well as high chairs against the bar. As we are discovering by the minute here at GPH, they only employ hotties. There's a few female, but it's mostly male hotties and the bartenders are no exception. They are not only cute but very friendly and just a tad flirtatious. Oh, and they make an excellent cosmo.

While we chat up the hottie bartenders, they inform us that most of the bar staff was fired after the hotel's opening party last week due to bad service and this weekend is their first weekend working the bar.

They also tell us that you cannot enter this bar unless you are a guest of the hotel, as an outsider your best bet is to call ahead for reservations. And it's not like you reserve a seat at the bar, you just get put on the list to enter the bar. Schrager place with a "list", shocking, we know. Apparently, the hotel doesn't want more than 150 people in either the Jade or the Rose Bar at a time, thus the list.

During our bar visit, we notice Marisa Tomei walk in, cute as ever, with a few male friends, one of which sports a mullet, in that "haute bohemian" way of course.

During our time at Jade, we encountered our first hotel visit kink: the bar's credit card machine went down so they had to trace our card the old-school way. Minor kink, we know.
