The "quiet" opening for the Gramercy Park Hotel is officially one week away and as you can tell, we're anxiously awaiting this "game-changing" hotel to enter our lives, despite how by-the-book things have been thus far.

This is a pic we recently snapped of the hotel's exterior. Moving men, under the direction of a suited-up security guard were unpacking some furniture from Decca Hospitality, a high-end furniture manufacturer that has pieces other hotels like the Four Seasons, Mandarin Oriental, Fairmont and * gasp * Hyatt and Hilton. Unfortunately, all we saw were a couple of red chairs in some packing.

Ok, and say it with us--none of this is game changing.
