Nicky Hilton To Open Nicky O Hotels This Fall

We heard the rumblings and we dismissed them. Nicky Hilton, hotelier? Sure she has it in her genes but aside from designing handbags and clothes yet to be worn by people other than her sister and Harajuku girls in Japan, this girl's resume is limited.

But when there's a Hilton, there's some sort of public endeavor. People mag reports that Nicky is opening two of her very own hotels, called Nicky O. The first will open in November in Miami on Ocean Boulevard. Currently, two existing buildings on the boulevard are being remodeled into Nicky O.

The 96-room condo-tel will include:

Entertainment news tickers in the elevators, a signature scent and rooms designed by friends - including $5,000-a-night penthouse by clothing designer Roberto Cavalli.

The lobby of the hotel will include a giant chandelier and lots of marble which Nicky has already called "hot." The second hotel will open in Chicago on Printer's Row shortly after the Miami spot.

Right now, there's a sales site for what we assume is the condo part of the Nicky O. However, it says to come back on July 14 for more info.

If Nicky can open up her hotels on-time with some cool amenities (entertainment news ticker do not count) then we'll start to consider her seriously. Otherwise, the only thing that could make this bearable is if she offered night-vision video cameras in the mini-bar as part of a sex-toy package. Paris would be so proud.
