The Bryant Park Hotel may not have free wireless but one guest wrote that the actual Bryant Park does have free wireless.

Free wireless in Bryant Park - I walked down every day to get my mail.

So take advantage of the summer weather and hit up the park to avoid paying for the hotel's internet access. Unless your computer doesn't have wireless capability which means you're old school or just old.
