'Game-Changing' Lights Are On at Gramercy Park Hotel

While Allure mag was able to get inside The Gramercy Park Hotel last week (at least they got to see the kitchen), we managed to check in on the hotel last night from our VIP vantage point of the sidewalk across the street.

And in yet another way to appease the Gramercy Park neighborhood, (or maybe to maintain secrecy) Schrager had some moving trucks come by last night to move in some stuff. What kind of stuff we couldn't exactly see, just big white boxes. But we did see that the "game-changing" lights are on in some rooms, and sadly, not much else.

There's still work to be done on the exterior, especially around the entrance and who knows if there's even furniture in the rooms yet. We're not saying Schrager can't make the 8th but we'll be watching him closely for the next ten days. Maybe the rooms will be ready as the guests arrive.
