Good Rate: Lingerie Party at the Waldorf

How often do you get to combine a stay at a famous historic hotel with a chance to see people showing off their underwear?

On July 31, the Contours International Lingerie Awards will take place at New York's Waldorf Astoria Hotel. "Awards will be handed out in 17 categories, including best T-shirt bra, best daywear, best technical innovation, best D+ size and best maternity." Attendees will enjoy "cocktails followed by a dinner, fashion show and the awards."

If you're not a part of the event, you may have trouble getting a room that night. Book the night before or after though and you should still find plenty of models lounging around. When we pulled up the reservation site for June 30, it was $289 for a run of the house room and $309 for an executive room. For an opulent hotel in Manhattan, this is a deal.
