We are suckers for a room with a killer view.  We find that we are even more likely to forgive some minor hotel inconveniences if we can stare out the window at something pretty--yeah we are that shallow. Let's help out our fellow hotel mavens by uploading rooms with killer views to the HotelChatter/Flickr photo pool, or by sending the photo along to us. We will feature our favorites in this space from time to time. Remember to tell us the name of the hotel and the room number of the hot view.

While the views are good at the place, the surrounding area doesn't sound too pretty judging from the reviews:

The hotel is beautiful, its true that it's not in a particularly pretty spot but you're staying INSIDE not OUT and once through the doors the decor and standards of cleanliness were of a high standard.

The hotel has a courtesy bus which runs several times to and from Sorrento but if you need to use the local bus it costs only 1 Euro (Bus A) and runs about every 30 minutes. The stop is about a 3 or 4 minute walk away, if you've read elsewhere about a tunnel you have to walk through, please don't worry, it's well lit and has a pavement on both sides of the road. I felt it was perfectly safe, it only leads down to a cul-de-sac, so the traffic is minimal and the few youngsters around in the area were fine...
