Turns out, even when you are far too old for spring break, there are age appropriate transformed options out there.

For all you older women out there, long gone are the days you planned trips to Cancun with a few bikinis, sun dresses, and tanning oil, but say hello to the spa, cooking classes, and luxury suites. Today's replacement spring break type vacation can still involve you and your girlfriends yet this time with a lot more class. Or as the press release we received called it, "Girls Gone Mellow."

Running from July 10th through December 15th rates are $241 per person per night with a three night minimum at the Alexandra Resort on Grace Bay (hardly the El Cheapo Inn with free Corona at 5pm and rice and bean complimentary breakfast). Unlike your spring breaker days, two to three friends will fit in a luxury suite while eight to twelve will work in a penthouse...again, gone are the days of twelve girls in a double room.

The package includes a spa treatment on your hotel room terrace, a Caribbean cooking class (we have yet to find pictures of the chef), and a Caribbean Cocktail Tasting. Notice the differences here from the Cancun days. Now it's best to "taste" your cocktails rather than throw them down the hatch in a mad rush to reclaim your position dancing on the bar. This is for girls gone mellow, remember? So pack your SPF 75.
