Doubletree Celebrates the Fourth With Free Cookies For All

What do you do at 4 a.m. on the Fourth of July when a monster cookie craving strikes? Hit up a Doubletree.

In honor of patriotism and unity, Doubletree Hotels will be handing out free cookies for anyone who stops in on the Fourth.

Usually reserved for guests of the hotel, Doubletree decided to go all out this year by letting each of their 160 U.S. locations hand out the free treats all day (and night) long.

 People may simply walk into any Doubletree hotel between 12:01 a.m. and 11:59 p.m. on Tuesday, July 4, 2006 to be welcomed with a delicious, warm chocolate chip cookie, while supplies last.

Doubletree already greets their guests at check-in with its "legendary" chocolate chip cookies. In fact, more than 150 million cookies have been given away during the past two decades. Hmm, we love cookies but that number actually makes us sick.
