The Scotsman Hotel Is Fit and Knows It
June 29, 2006 at 1:05 PM | 0 Comments
We recently saw how one of Edinburgh's hotels completely missed the point.
The Scotsman Hotel might just make up for it. The hotel stays true to Scottish design fit for modern tastes, it doesn't try to stretch the limits, unlike the Point Hotel. Plus the rooms offer our favorites: WiFi, TV & DVD, and a new one: a Monopoly game board slash table. Perhaps this is to save us from the potentially blustery weather of Edinburgh.
Usually fitness centers don't get us excited; they are all, for the most part, the same. But a tip from Information Britain may change our mind on this one:
'Escape', a private members health club, extends over two levels offering cutting edge design, impeccable service and state-of-the-art technology that sets Escape apart from its competitors. A 16 metre stainless steel pool, sauna and steam room and an extensive collection of the latest exercise equipment are available for use during your stay
It's the stainless steel pool that gets us here. It seems so very sanitary that we won't be afraid to dip in there with the drunk old Scotsman that surely will be frequenting the scene as well.
