HotelChatter || Vegas Pool Scene :: Caesars Palace is Tame

It's officially Summer and the weather in Las Vegas is heating up to 100 degrees which means people are stripping down to their bikinis and board shorts (some banana hammocks too) and letting their tattooed bodies and gold chains bask in the sun poolside. This week, we are updating you on what's going on at various Vegas hotel pools, using recent pictures from Flickr, recent reviews from TripAdvisor and recent tips. At Caesars Palace, the pool area is called the Garden of the Gods Pool Oasis, where the four pools are named in accordance with the whole Greek gods theme.

Temple is the main pool in a circular shape. Neptune is a heated lap pool. Apollo is smaller and more intimate without having restricted access and lastly there is the appropriately named Venus Pool, where you can also get special luxuries such as frozen towels, large cabanas, massages and face spritzers.

Caesars' cabanas are comparable to Wynn's, stocked with fridges and TVs but at a much cheaper rate ($150-$200 during the week, $200-$365 on the weekend.) The Pool Oasis also has the Neptune Bar and poolside beverage service, with food and snacks served at Snackus Maximus.

Overall the scene is pretty tame (with the exception of the topless area) and not very crowded. But apparently, the place acts like its expecting crowds of people at anytime according to one guest:

The only downside of the pool was that it was hard to find our waitress. Even when I got her attention she never came over and the place really wasn't that busy. The other down side is that if you go somewhere to have lunch and don't return to your chairs within 30 minutes, the pool hosts will take your towels and the chairs become available again.
