We are suckers for a room with a killer view.  We find that we are even more likely to forgive some minor hotel inconveniences if we can stare out the window at something pretty--yeah we are that shallow. Let's help out our fellow hotel mavens by uploading rooms with killer views to the HotelChatter/Flickr photo pool, or by sending the photo along to us. We will feature our favorites in this space from time to time. Remember to tell us the name of the hotel and the room number of the hot view.

We hope you are not afraid of heights if you stay at one of the worlds tallest hotels, the Baiyoke Sky Tower which has 88 floors. This killer view of Bangkok was taken from the 83rd floor.

Baiyoke with quality amenities

The best hotels in Thailand don't save any expenses when it comes to their rooms. This is especially true of these independent hotels, not part of the big international chains. I mean everything is always so nicely done from flowers on beds to high quality bathroom amenities. For example those from Purebliss, who seem to be carrying multiple different brands for different styles and in custom bottles. Perfect for independent minds and ideas I think, not suitable for your "Holiday Inn" mentality! :-D Baiyoke is no different. Love the fact this hotel is not part of any of the boring big chains.
