Hot Hotel Eats: Delano's Blue Door
June 14, 2006 at 9:10 AM | 0 Comments

The Delano Hotel is without a doubt a hip, cooler-than-thou type of place where New Yorkers like to retreat in the winter.
The hotel's restaurant, The Blue Door is no exception. Run by uber-restaurateur Jeffrey Chodorow and helmed by renowned chef Claude Troisgros, the restaurant serves a "refined modern French cuisine with Brazilian and global influences."
According to CitySearch, this might be the place to drop some of your hard-earned money on alcohol:
Celebrity patrons can drop $1,100 for a bottle of '79 Petrus, but the rest make do with a less renowned but quite versatile wine like 1996 Louis Max Savigny les Beaune ($65).
Other less formal options in the place are The Brasserie and the Blue Door Terrace for al fresco dining. The best part? Probably that you can make a reservation for a table online.
