Introducing Hotel Blog Watch
June 14, 2006 at 1:29 PM | 0 Comments
Lately, our inboxes have been infiltrated with news that hotel workers are blogging. But we wonder, are hotel workers saying anything worthwhile, or are they merely just puppets manipulated by the dark forces of the bottome line?
HotelChatter wants help dicepher this new world of official hotel blogs, which is why we are introducing Hotel Blog Watch a feature where we will put these blogs under the microscope and see if they are useful and interesting or just marketing drivel in reverse chronilogical order.
Interesting hotel sponsored blogs are out there, Hotel Chelsea's blog was one of the first on the scene, chronicling the ins and outs of NYC's eccentric hotel. We also loved that little Scottish lass, Lorna Jay, who blogged about her daily life as a hotelier behind a really old hotel in Edinburgh, the Spread Eagle. However, as you can imagine, a hotel sponsored blog can go bad in a hurry.
If you come across any hotel blog, good or bad, funny or boring, let us know and we'll decipher all that crafty HTML language and let you know what's really going on.
