Grove Park Inn Gets Crafty
May 23, 2006 at 10:35 AM | 0 Comments
Feel like gettin' crafty in the dirty south? Ok, so Asheville isn't exactly dirty, but the city's four star resort, The Grove Park Inn will definitely be a craftin'.
Running through June 6th, the hotel will display 80 booths boasting true American crafts. And they are offering package deals for these crafty weekend getaways for you to choose from.
If crafting or golf isn't in your interest, let's hope the Blue Ridge Mountains or the hotel's extensive spa will suffice. If that still doesn't get you excited, the cool cave-like pool is definitely worth the dip.
Built in 1913 the hotel seems to be a local favorite but can end up getting pricey. We couldn't help but bring your attention to one traveler's advice:
Be careful that every purchase you make is already taxed BY LAW, 15-20 percent. You are looked at strangely if you do not add an extra graturity
All we know is that we'd love to see the looks these cheap, crafting, grandmas will potentially get....
