It's that time of year again, Memorial Day Weekend--the unofficial start of Summer. For those of you who have three-day weekends but are stuck without a beach house or friend's place to crash, hotels are your only option.

Our first stop this week is the Caleo Resort & Spa in Scottsdale Arizona.

This Kimpton is offering a 15 percent discount off the best available rate as well as 15 percent off Jurlique spa services through Labor Day.

As for the hotel, the big hit is the pool area which is open 24 hours and even has a wading pool for little kids with an adjacent sandbox area. At night, the fire pits in the courtyard are lit up and you can roast hotdogs or smores.

Along with free wireless and complimentary wine-tasting, the hotel has a Cadillac Escalade that will drive you to any of the restaurants and shopping in Old Scottsdale for free. So there's no need to have a Designated Driver.
