In case your room view wasn't what you expected, Travel + Leisure has picked out places with excellent views poolside.

On their list is the Mandarin Oriental Miami which has views of the Biscayne Bay and the Miami downtown skyline and  a pool butler who works to serve your every need including bringing over Mandarian martinis and "spicy Peruvian grouper ceviches" from the Oasis bar.
