There is something endearingly kitsch about the ridiculously expensive, almost always wrong, star maps you can buy on Sunset Boulevard.

That's why we put together our own Hotel Star Map-- a mashup including pictures of the hotels where your favorite money-blowin' celebrities have been spending time in Los Angeles. Just think of it as another weapon in your celebrity-spotting arsenal when you come to town.

As for who did what where, when and why, we started the map off with some of the most notable celebrity incidents at these hotels that we have gathered here at HotelChatter in the past. However, we are counting on you to help us out with whatever you know.

So if you saw Charlie Sheen check-in to the Standard with a bunch of hookers back in 2004, or yesterday afternoon, or if you saw a television fly out of window at the Riot Hyatt back in 1988, or early this morning, send us an email.

We want to know everything--which celeb guests were ultra messy, good tippers, oh, and of course whenever Keifer Sutherland attacks hotel Christmas trees we absolutely must know. Hopefully, the map will be a little more accurate than those roadside star maps, but we make no promises--feel free to let us know if you see something that needs correcting or updating.

Lastly, we love photos. So if you got `em, share the wealth.
