Amazing Race 9 Final Hotel Report: Shibuya Stay

This is our last Amazing Race 9 hotel report and we know it makes you just as sad as it makes us.
The remaining teams--the Frat Boys, The Hippies and RaYo--flew from Bangkok to Tokyo where they had to hang out in the massive intersection of Shibuya (the Far Eastern version of Times Square). But first they had to navigate the confusing highway that leads into town. Eric and Jeremy managed to get through this first.
After a sort of ridiculous "maiden" task, the troop ended up at one of those funky Japanese capsule hotels, the Capsule Land Hotel Shibuya Tokyo.
Each team was presented with towels, robes and locker/room keys upon arriving but this is not an enjoyable stay. Rather it's where Japanese businessmen who are too drunk to get home end up for the night.
And as one of the speedo-wearing team members said, "It's like sleeping in tubes. I hope I don't wake up and it's 1972 or something."
The groups finally ended up on American soil for the very last leg of the race and while we would love to spill all here, skip on over to Jaunted who has the Complete TAR map and episode recap.
One last thought: We have to hand it to CBS for pitting Frat Boys (although sexually confused) against The Hippies--that makes great TV. And props to RaYo for sticking it out, but how could CBS put the second hour of the finale up against "Lost"?
