Night Hotel Not a Sight for Sore Eyes

Last month we took a quick tour through Night Hotel but the unfriendly staff and dark hallways had us paranoid that we were being watched at all times. Thus we couldn't take the kind of pictures we hoped.
Luckily, a recent guest took plenty of photos and has a suspicously candy-coated take on his stay:
I just returned home from one of the best stays that I have ever had in NYC [at Night Hotel.] The decor is edgy and fun. The rooms were comfortable and the beds were fabulous. The best feature, however was the staff. The bellmen were very helpful, the front desk staff were welcoming and even remembered my name each time I came back "home"! The bar staff made me feel welcome when I wanted a glass or two of wine after a long hard day's work. And most of all, the night manager Steve was very nice and helpful as well.
Hmm. Vikram, did you write that? Can anyone else back up the above "claims"? Well, maybe we shouldn't be so hard on Night Hotel. It's just that we haven't come to grips with the possibility of a Vikram Chatwal hotel that might actually live up to its hype.
Fortunately, we still have the Night-marish black and white decor to ridicule.
