Stupid Hotel Details Going Out Of Style

With hotels getting more and more obsessed with the latest technology, we were delighted to see that someone at Hotel Online has pointed out some pointless hotel inventions.
Hotels have come along way since the combination alarm clock, AM-FM radio, CD player, personal digital assistant and oscilloscope. We're so glad the iPod is taking over.
More antiquated hotel room standards are self-collapsing luggage racks and Floral, polyester, scratchy bed spreads, both of which are fading out.
Perhaps other pointless inventions such as towel bars inside the shower stall, plastic bag liners in the ice bucket and decorative balconies with sliding glass doors will be the next to go.
