The lobby is large for New York, decorated mostly in black. (There was however a mother and baby sitting in the lobby.) There are large framed photographs of scantily clad, if at all, models on each floor and keeping in trend with the theme, the hallways are very dark with minimal lighting.

Next to the guestroom doors are tiny screen monitors with the room number and other images swirling about. Without a doubt, these monitors serve no purpose except that of heightening the hotel's cool factor.
Alas, we could not see a room for fear one of the unfriendly zombies working the place would take us down to the basement where we would never see the light of day again.

On the bright side, the hotel has complimentary wireless access that purrs like a kitten and the elevator was finally working.
Overall, this hotel definitely has a cool factor but perhaps for goth-enthusiasts from the midwest seeking to check out Times Square.
