Holiday Inn Park Slope?

We aren't sure what the Holiday Inn's appearance in a neighborhood signifies, especially when the neighborhood is Park Slope, Brooklyn.
The Slope is the affluent neighborhood with more writers per capita than the New York Times headquarters. Amidst the brownstones and wrought iron fences, writers type from free WiFi cafes, with prose of a Jonathan Safran Foer-Paul Auster-Dave Eggers-sentiment.
The Holiday Inn site to-be is located on the outskirts of the hood-- no boutiques and moms on the block yet, but there is a KFC and some body shops just down the road.
Perhaps it will turn into Brooklyn's Algonquin... Hey it could happen. All the writers here need free WiFi to write their monologues, and could probably afford the $129 to $199 a night on their freelancer salary.
