Las Vegas Ponders George Clooney's Empty Head

Every time George Clooney talks about his now shuttered Las Ramblas project, about the only thing he seems to say with any conviction is, "there are 25 developable acres right next to the Hard Rock".

With Clooney's untimely Vegas demise we decided to spend a little time on Google Earth and take a look at the off Paradise Road area that George use to speak so fondly of.

The Hard Rock Hotel, in its current incarnation, is on the far right of this map, directly behind the Hard Rock is the area where the Hard Rock Residences are going, um, well that is if that project is still on.  On the far left of the map you see an open area where the W Las Vegas Hotel & Residences are being built.  That leaves us with one giant gap, which for illustration purposes we filled with Clooney's head.  So what is up with the 25 acres formerly earmarked for Las Ramblas?  Is W going to expand their project?  Is a new developer going to swoop in and purchase that property?  Enquiring minds want to know.
