Update: Who Does the Sagamore Belong To?
April 17, 2006 at 9:35 AM | 0 Comments

We still have very little knowledge of what's going on with the Sagamore in Miami Beach. The Thompson Hotel Group has indeed removed the hotel from their web site. And one of our readers let us know that the hotel is not accepting reservations through their website or through a popular travel agent service.
When we called the hotel, someone at the front desk confirmed that the hotel was no longer owned by Thompson but could not say who the new owner was, (either they did not know or were not privy to release that information).
You can still stay there but you must book reservations by phone (303-535-8088.) We were told the new reservations web site will be up next week but don't count on it.
