Trump Heads to Scotland

Who knew Donald Trump was half-Scottish? (His mother grew up there.) In apparent homage to his ancestry, Bloomberg News reports that Trump will build 2 golf courses and a five-star hotel on the northeast coast of Scotland.

The development will run a tab of $500 million and will also include apartments, a golf academy and a grass reseach center (we assume this is grass found on the ground.)

The Donald's quote:

I have never seen such an unspoilt and dramatic seaside landscape. The location makes it perfect for our development.

Work on the golf courses will begin in Septemer and will open in early 2008, just 80 miles north of legendary course, St. Andrews.

Maybe the next season of "The Apprentice" will film in Scotland, where the winner will be "in charge" of this place.
