Message to Jessica Simpson: Teddy's Is Closed

It all happened so fast. One night at Teddy's--the ultra private exclusive VIP only bar within the Hollywood Roosevelt Courtney Love passed out from exhaustion. Then Jessica Simpson and Adam Levine were spotted getting cozy. Not long after, Kid Rock was beating up a fan and then wham, Amanda Scheer Demme, the proprietress behind the celebrity hook-up bastion was kicked out.

Of course, the LA Times has the story from Demme's point of view.

Demme told the paper she was "beyond surprised" that her agreement with Thompson Hotels was terminated (putting down rumours that she would be bought out.) After all, she had just overseen a concert by Prince the other night. As per usual when a Hollywood biz relationship sours, she cites "creative differences" behind getting the boot.

"I wanted us all to be one big happy family. If it could have been salvageable I would have loved for it to have been."

For the hotel, they admitted they didn't like the bad press the club was getting.

Now Demme says she will focus on the nightclub for W Las Vegas and other opportunities that will come her way.

Have no fear, young Hollywood. Tropicana bar should remain open and Teddy's will open again later in the spring but most likely under a new name and image.

At the end of the day, maybe now the hotel can go back to being what it should be, a hotel that accomodates its guests.
