The Las Vegas Hilton was the venue for Alka-Seltzer's 75th birthday buffet, which was to be the world's largest.

The guys at Guinness World Records had never encountered such a brilliant attempt before, and set the bar at 500 dishes to qualify. The antacid tablet went above and beyond with 510 dishes prepared by the hotels 20 chefs.

Some dishes included BBQ style beef ribs, salmon Wellington, cheese quesadillas, crispy buttermilk fried chicken, and New York style cheesecake. (We are assuming there was plenty of free Alka-Seltzer handed out at this event.)

Despite being home to the scary Star Trek experience, the hotel is still seeking some more attention:

The Hilton has been home to many icons over the years, including Elvis Presley and currently Barry Manilow, so its only fitting that we help celebrate another iconic brand.

Not wanting to seem too gluttonous, the company is donating proceeds to a hunger-relief charity, America's Second Harvest. We hope they threw in some leftovers at least.
