Better Late Skiing than Never

Couldn't get to the slopes during peak winter season? Then hit up the Hotel Jerome in Aspen during April 2 through April 16, which is the last two weeks of the ski season.  You can get both rooms and daily lift tickets for Apsen Mountain and Snowmass at just $320 a day.

The Hotel Jerome is on the small side, with just 92 rooms, but has been around since 1889, so they must be doing something right. Even the snobs who loves Little Nell Hotel love this place:

OK, when we pulled in, I thought yuck because I am definitely more the Little Nell type, but if there was ever a nicer staff, I don't know where they are. We were upgraded to a deluxe king and given a fabulous anniversary dessert platter with a note from the general manager. The room was enormous, the bed great, the housekeeping meticulous, the bathrooms unbelievable, and the bell boys and waiters cute.

If it was good enough for Hunter S. Thompson then it's good enough for you.
