The St. Julien Hotel & Spa in Boulder, Colorado opened in January 2005 but they are still offering their introductory rates of $159-$219, depending on which day you come and what type of view you want (city or mountain?)

While the room price might be nice, the bar area tends to charge a bit more for drinks:

The prices in the hotel bar were 40% above those in the bars in Boulder so there was nobody there. Overall, not for the single traveller or anyone who likes a bit of banter over a pint in the evening.

The LA Times on the other hand learned that late night is when the T-Zero bar gets packed.

In the end what does a bar scene matter when you get to go back to your room and play with the plush gophers and chipmunks which also serve as Do-Not-Disturb signs.
