Amazing Race 9 Hotel Report: Italian Stallions
March 29, 2006 at 8:28 AM | 0 Comments
Last week the Amazing Race said goodbye to Team Boriqua and headed off to Sicily, Italy, where our favorite Ambiguously Gay Casanovas were up to their usual "are they or aren't they?" hijinks. According to our sexually curious baby bro Jaunted, the duo's gayest moment comes when Eric was squealing about how hot the Greek man statue was that Jeremy was putting together.
'Nuff said.
Since the Racers didn't get a chance to stay over in Sicily (not that we saw anyways) we hope that if they did get some down-time off-camera that they headed to Castellammare del Golfo, a well-known holiday resort in the area.
TripAdvisor's #1 choice for the area is the Hotel Centrale. Located in the ancient town of Alcamo, the hotel is part of an old 18th century building, complete with old antique original furnitures. But the rooms are updated for your convenience and include a private bathroom (with hairdryer!) air-conditioning, mini-bar and TV.
An added bonus is the English-speaking staffer:
It is beautiful... lots of attention paid to detail, gorgeous rooms, wonderful food, exceptional staff (especially David, who speaks very good English, and was always available to answer questions, make recommendations, give directions, etc).
As ever, Jaunted has the Amazing Race map for more info.
