"Don'cha Wish Your Hotel Was Hot Like Me?"

Where: Bukit Pasoh Road, Singapore

This is what we imagine the New Majestic Hotel in Singapore would be singing if it ever were a raunchy faux-pop girl band.

We thought rooms with open tubs and peepholes into the bathroom was pretty voyeuristic but the newly opened New Majestic Hotel in the city's Chinatown district goes a few steps farther. There is a suite where the ceiling is lined with mirrors and

the glass portholes in the floor of its swimming pool, which also happens to be the ceiling of a restaurant, provide some form of eye candy for diners below and swimmers above.

But the hotel's biggest thrill is probably the Pussy Parlor, decorated by a fashion stylist and show producer named Daniel Boey that is complete with "fuschia and turquoise accents, French chandeliers, a brass bed, neon lights and mirrors."

We imagine this room will get lots of play.

The hotel is the creation of Loh Lik Peng, who won Singapore Tourism Board's New Tourism Entrepreneur Of The Year award last year for his work on Hotel 1929, the city's first hip budget hotel.

Along with four more "concept rooms" designed by local creative designers, the New Majestic has other theme suites that include The Hanging Bed room where murals form the bed-head of a classic four-poster bed and the Aquarium Room where a glass-encased bathtub sits in the middle of the room.

Of course, with outlandish room designs the hotel's prices are a bit more than its budget sister property but still on the cheap ranging from $150 to $250. If you do visit here and happen to stay in the Pussy Parlor, let us know (and don't forget to take some pics!)
